Dear Jack and Ros,

Congratulations with your marriage. We’re very happy for the both of you, but especially happy for Jack, of course. We never thought he was going to find such a fine lady as you, Ros! When it was obvious that it was impossible for him to marry a Dutch girl, it was good for him to look abroad. It cost a lot of money to put all those adverts (classifieds) in al those different newspapers, all over the world, but it was necessary. Jack was getting desperate…

I remember that in the first years when Jack was working for our DJ Fanclub Magazine, he kept saying that it was easier to get a proper girlfriend while he was ‘on the job’. He was convinced that working as a real DJ Fanclub star-reporter, he would be chased by lots of women. We now know that this is complete nonsense, but it took poor old Jack a long time to figure it out.

On the contrary, being a DJ Fanclub reporter makes you less eligible. Maybe very young, inexperienced female (or male!) DJ’s might think that if they slime up to serious reporters it may do their career some good, but the more they learn about the DJ business and the mysterious way it all works, the more they learn to avoid Jack Undercover.

So, dear Ros, I want to especially thank you, for taking care of him. It’s a big relief for us all here at the DJ Fanclub head-office. We’ve heard that you’re going on honeymoon and I’d like to wish you on behalf of the complete DJ Fanclub organisation a very pleasant, kinky and nice honeymoon! And… be careful with him, you know how fragile he is!
